Black History Music Event - Swansea Arena
Pupils from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 had a fantastic opportunity to attend a Black History music celebration at Swansea Arena. The event showcased a wide range of music from talented artists across Wales, and we really enjoyed listening to the different styles and performances.
As part of the day, we learnt more about Black History in Wales, discovering important stories, influential figures, and the impact Black communities have had on Welsh culture—especially through music.
A special highlight was seeing a former Christchurch pupil helping to host the event, which made the experience even more memorable for us.
The concert was not only inspiring but also linked perfectly to our current topic, “Sounds of Celebration.” It was a brilliant day full of learning, music, and enjoyment!
