Year 3 and 4 Swansea Library Visit
Year 3 and 4 enjoyed an exciting visit to the newly opened Swansea Library. Pupils had the chance to explore the impressive new building, spending time in the bright and engaging children’s library.
As part of our topic “Sound of Celebrations”, the children took part in a range of activities linked to festivals and music. They explored different celebrations across Wales, as well as festivals from around the world, using a variety of books to research traditions, cultures, and the ways people celebrate through sound and music.
The visit also included a digital creative session, where pupils experimented with using photographs to create their own artwork. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity and helped them develop their digital skills in a fun and engaging way.
Overall, it was a wonderful trip that inspired curiosity, creativity, and a love of reading.
