Blaze of Glory Launch Day! 🔥
We had a fantastic start to our new topic, Blaze of Glory! To help us learn all about fire and how to stay safe, we had some very special visitors.
👩⚕️ An Occupational Therapist from Morriston Hospital came to talk to us. She works with people who have been burned and taught us how to spot fire hazards in our homes and how to keep ourselves safe. We even got a booklet to take home and share with our families!
🌿 Dawn Thomas from Nature Days helped us explore fire in a safe and exciting way. We learned how fire works and how to use it responsibly.
We really value the VOICE of our school. We asked the children, staff, governors and parents for their contributions in planning our new topic!
