Blaze of Glory Launch Day! π₯
We had a fantastic start to our new topic, Blaze of Glory! To help us learn all about fire and how to stay safe, we had some very special visitors.
π©βοΈ An Occupational Therapist from Morriston Hospital came to talk to us. She works with people who have been burned and taught us how to spot fire hazards in our homes and how to keep ourselves safe. We even got a booklet to take home and share with our families!
πΏ Dawn Thomas from Nature Days helped us explore fire in a safe and exciting way. We learned how fire works and how to use it responsibly. The best part? We all got to roast a marshmallow over a fire—yum! π‘
π Miss Brake read us a magical dragon story that sparked our imaginations. We thought about what dragons might look like and how they behave.
π¨ βοΈ Year 3 and 4 drew their own dragons and used lots of amazing adjectives to describe them. There were fiery dragons, sparkly dragons, and even friendly ones!
It was a brilliant day full of learning, creativity, and fun. We’re all fired up and ready to dive into our new topic!
