The children in Years 2, 3 and 4 had a fantastic day visiting Cardiff Museum. Our adventure began with an exciting Cynfein workshop, where we learned all about life in the past through hands‑on activities and engaging storytelling. The children loved exploring different artefacts and discovering how people lived long ago.
We then spent time in the Art Gallery, where pupils enjoyed looking closely at a range of artwork and talking about the colours, shapes and stories they could see in each piece.
We explored the rest of the museum and saw lots of amazing exhibitions. One of the biggest highlights of the day was the Dinosaur exhibition—the children were fascinated by the huge skeletons and roaring models! We also loved learning about volcanoes, especially seeing how they erupt and shape the world around us.
It was a memorable day filled with learning, discovery and excitement. The children represented the school brilliantly, and we can’t wait for our next adventure!
