The children and Miss Logue have been busy gardening and planting a wonderful variety of vegetables and fruit. They’ve carefully sown seeds for radishes, lettuce, leeks, potatoes, beetroot, carrots, and chives, learning about how each plant grows and what it needs to thrive. Alongside these, they’ve also planted broad beans and French beans, which will grow tall and produce delicious pods. Each child has had a turn helping out, showing great teamwork and enthusiasm. They’ve also planted a tomato plant and a strawberry plant, which they are especially excited about as they look forward to picking juicy fruit later in the season. The garden is now full of promise, and the children are eagerly watching for signs of growth. Tending to their plants is helping them develop patience, responsibility, and a deeper appreciation for nature and healthy food. It’s been a fantastic hands-on learning experience that they’re all proud of.
