Year 3/4 Mount Pleasant Baptist Church 200 Years
Year 3 & 4 Trip to Mount Pleasant Baptist Church – Celebrating 200 Years!
Our Year 3 and 4 children had a fantastic morning visiting Mount Pleasant Baptist Church to join in their 200-year celebration.
The children enjoyed an exciting timeline of events, learning fascinating facts about:
- Vikings
- Dylan Thomas
- Mary Jones
- World War I & II
- Swansea Jack
- Joe’s Ice Cream
…and so much more!
They explored the beautiful church building, tried out different musical instruments, and even took part in a fact-finding hunt. Every child worked hard and was lucky enough to receive a prize for their efforts!
We were treated to delicious ice cream, fresh fruit, drinks, and croissants – what a treat!
A huge thank you to Mount Pleasant Baptist Church for welcoming us and making the morning so enjoyable. The children had a brilliant time and learned so much about local history and the church’s amazing 200-year journey.
