A letter from our chairperson June 2024

Dear Parents, Carers and Teachers,

We are so grateful and amazed at all of the support we received from you at our summer fayre! It was wonderful seeing all of the children running around playing the various games, raffle tables, and enjoying lots of sweets and treats. Thanks to your generosity we were able to raise £890 for the school! It is the most we have raised post Covid and will continue to fund our kids wish lists of items and experiences.

We want to thank all of the year 5 and 6 children for their hard work in planning and facilitating the games as part of their business enterprising. Thank you to all of the foundation phase and key stage 2 children who made various crafts to sell. We love seeing them flourish in their creativity!

Thank you to Dilly’s Kitchen for the amazing barbecue and cakes. Thank you Cwtch Mawr Charity for your generous donations that have been a tremendous help for our families. To all of the parents and carers who helped plan, set up, baked or bought goods, donated items, looked after a stall, and came out on the day - we appreciate you!

We also want to thank the teachers and staff who go above and beyond, selflessly giving their time to support our children through all of these extra school activities and events. We are grateful for your genuine care and collaboration and look forward to future endeavours to give our kids the best YES for their futures.

Letter from our chairperson - September 2023

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to a new school year! We continue to be amazed at all we were able to accomplish together last school year and it could not have been possible without the support, time, talents, financial donations, and sacrifices many of you made to see that our kids desires became reality. Some of their wishes fulfilled included:

1) New Foundation Phase reading books

2) A new oven to assist cookery lessons

3) Resources for the sensory shed

4) A microphone and amplifier for concerts and events 

As a PTA, our desire is to give every parent or carer an opportunity to contribute toward making our Christchurch Primary community one where our children benefit in learning opportunities and resources that will help them thrive and grow in confidence (and have some fun along the way)!
