Schools of Sanctuary

We became an accredited School of Sanctuary in 2023.

Please visit the Gallery and scroll down for evidence before  September 2024. (Look back in the archive blocks)

We all have a part to play in building a welcoming and inclusive society.

"The Schools of Sanctuary network supports the thousands of children and young people seeking sanctuary in the UK, raises awareness of the experiences of people seeking safety, and plays a key role in building a culture of kindness and compassion.⁣

Schools are the heart of our communities and are central to building a better, fairer and kinder society – for everyone.

The Schools of Sanctuary programme aims to advise, support and inspire schools to achieve these goals."

Schools of Sanctuary is part of our every day ethos and provision in Christchurch - Treating others how you want to be treated. Schools of Sanctuary supports our Peace Mala work and it helps us to use our 12 School Values.

If you would like to collaborate with us - please send us an email.

We hosted a Meithrin event to share our RVE - We talked about how Peace Mala and the Schools of Sanctuary charities help support our provision. November 2024

We take part in many festivals, projects, in school initiatives and Swansea driven initiatives that help support our Schools of Sanctuary provision.

We take part in different workshops at the Waterfront Museum where our Agents of Change (AOC) discuss key topics and issues. The AOC  host whole school assemblies to feed back the information learnt.

Our Agents of Change go on many missions!
