Fri 20 Jan 2023 Miss Herbert

Our school is one of many that is participating in the Eco- Schools programme. This is an international scheme that is intended to make environmental and global issues more relevant to the day to day lives of our children. The scheme is divided into nine key areas - Litter, Waste Minimisation, Transport, Healthy Living, Energy, Water, School Grounds, Biodiversity and Global Citizenship.

We have participated in Eco Schools since 2008 and gained the highest possible accolade, The Platinum Award, in 2017

See our Eco Schools section for a lot more information, including our action plan and work from all nine topic areas.
